Creating an account on DecisionHR
You must set up an account on DecisionHR to use the app. Setting up an account authenticates you to onboard your company information and run payroll using the DecisionHR app.
The whole process of creating an account on DecisionHR is divided into three steps:
- Initial information: Start by providing basic details about yourself and your company, including the company's phone number.
- Email confirmation: After entering your information, you will receive a confirmation email to verify your email address.
- Account setup: Complete the process by setting up your password and agreeing to the terms of use and privacy policy.
Initial information
After navigating to the DecisionHR web application, and since you do not have an account, click on Register.
After clicking on Register, it loads up a new page, which contains a couple of required data fields where you input information such as:
- First Name- This is the employee's first name creating the DecisionHR account. This person eventually becomes the company's first admin on DecisionHR (Although the company can revoke the admin status later in the app when there's a new admin).
- Last Name- This is the employee's last name.
- Email Address- We will use the email address supplied here for subsequent confirmation and authentication.
- Company's Phone- You input the company's dedicated phone number here.
All these fields take alphanumeric characters (letters and numbers) for validation purposes except the company's phone field, which only accepts integers. After filling in this information, click on Sign Up.
Email confirmation
Upon clicking Sign up, we will send a confirmation email to the address you provided in the previous step. You will receive an email from us welcoming you and asking you to complete your registration by confirming your email.
Account Setup
You finally set up your account with us by clicking the confirmatory link sent to your email. Here, you create and confirm a new password for your new account.
For validation, your password must have a minimum length of 8 characters and contain uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Ensure you toggle the little box beneath the password fields to accept our privacy policy and terms of use. You need toggling on this box to create an account. After completing these steps, click on Create Account to finalize your new account setup.
Upon successful account creation, DecisionHR prompts you to enter your company's basic information in the next step.
